Hey guys! Sorry kung hindi ako masyadong makapag-post or update ng fic ko. It’s been pretty busy sa school at sobrang daming requirements. Pero rest assure na mag-uupdate ako at tatapusin ko ang fic na ito. I’ll be posting one shots too kaso hindi ganoon ka frequent like before. Hope you guys are still reading at inaantabay ang story. 

MIA na din ako sa JuliElmo pero one thing is for sure. Laging antabay for Daldalita at Party Pilipinas! :)

It’s been two weeks now.

Two weeks since Louise wasn’t showing up in school—good thing she’s coming back tomorrow;

Two weeks since that Magalona kid has been torturing me and making my day worse every single minute of everyday;

And it’s been two weeks since I last saw him…

It’s a Saturday today—which means no school. I was out on the porch playing with Bryan when I received a text from Louise saying that she went home a day early and she’ll be stopping by our house later.

“Hey!”

I looked to my left and saw Ian wearing a “sando” and jeans while watering the plants from their yard. For a guy who says he’s not working out, definitely has a good body!

“Hi.” I waved.

“So, are you home-alone today?” he asked.

“Yeah. Aunt has to go to the other town for an over-night trip.” I said while making my way to their front porch.

“Oh. I see. Well, hey. If you need company I can—I mean we’re always here.” He said and looked right passed me.

I looked to my back and saw Alden and that Elmo kid.

“Hey Julie!” Alden greeted my. I smiled.

“Sup, grumpy?” Elmo said with a smirk on his face.

If I wasn’t carrying Bryan right now, I would’ve thrown a stone in his face.

“Well, hey! I have an idea. Why don’t we eat at your place? I couldn’t let you and Bryan sitting alone, can I?” Ian suggested.

“No. It’s fine. Louise will come by and sleep-over tonight. No need to do that.”

“It’s okay. I mean, when I’m out of town, Rachelle would usually go to our house and cook dinner for the boys. It’s just like returning a favour.”

I wanted to disagree. Why? Well, simple. I don’t want to be in a same room with the Sesame street puppet! But I can’t refuse to Ian especially when I know he’s a great cook.

I sighed. “Okay.”

“Great! Moe, Alden, bring the groceries into Julie’s kitchen.”

“Okay.” Both of them replied.

We went to the house and opened the door for them. As Elmo was about to pass by me, he whispered into my ear that made me regret agreeing to Ian.

“This should be an exciting dinner. Better hang tight, Ms. Grumpy.” He then left and I swear I heard him chuckled.

“Wha—I’m sorry. Uh… I…” I was stuttering.

He giggled. “Sorry if I startled you.” He said

“I’m Sam. Sam Collins.” He offered his hands and I took it.

“Julie.”

“Ah. The name suits you—a pretty name for a pretty face.” He smiled and walked towards the small garden.

I can feel blood coming up my cheeks. “Uh, heh. Thanks. I think I should go now. Sorry for intruding.” And before I could even turn my back he suddenly called me.

“Julie, wait! You’re not intruding; besides, there’s a lot of space for just one person. Why don’t you join me for lunch?” He said while patting the on the spot next to him.

“Uh. Okay.” I went and took the sit next to him and we ate our lunch in silence.

I went to my locker to get my books. It’s been a long day. While I was getting my books a voice suddenly came out of nowhere and startled me…

“So, where have you been?” I looked at the guy standing next to me.

“You startled me.” I said as I turned my attention back into my books.

“You didn’t answer the question. I haven’t seen you during lunch. Where were you, Little Miss Grumpy?”

“It’s none of your business.” I said, coldly.

“Well, like I said, you’re my responsibility so I have the right to know where you were.” He said, looking straight at me.

I slammed the locker door and looked at him. I’m really getting pissed off right now! I mean, who does he think he is?

I let out a heavy sigh—controlling my anger. “I wasn’t hungry so I went to the library.”

Okay, I lied but who cares? He’s annoying!

“Uh-huh. Is that so, San Jose?” he said, stepping closer to me.

“Uh… Yeah.” I’m getting uncomfortable with our position, especially when we’re in the hallway where everyone is staring at us. Good thing the bell rang.

Louise, where are you? Save me from that Magalona kid!

I can’t believe it! How come out of all the people who will attend me, why does it have to be him? Why does it have to be that Elmo Magalona?!

As we walk pass the hall, I saw everyone was looking at us. It was just like before only now, there are some that are not just stare but glares!

“Here’s your locker.” He said and then leaned against the locker next to it.

“I guess even our lockers are neighbour too.” I looked at him.

“Oh really? Well then, let’s throw a party! Yehey!” I said sarcastically and waving my hands in the air.

Like I could care less.

“Aren’t we off to a bad mood today, Ms. Grumpy?” he said with a teasing smile.

“And I thought you don’t want me to be your responsibility?” I shot him back. We are both walking to go to are next class and apparently we have the same sched—well, except for music class. Woopie!

“I guess it couldn’t be helped now is it?” We both entered the room and as expected all eyes are on us. I saw some familiar faces.

“Hey Moe!” Derrick came close and gives Elmo a high five.

“Well… Well… Well… Hey Julie! Glad to see you.” He put his arms around me but I shrugged it off.

“Yeah. Right.”

“You can sit anywhere, Julie but I suggest you sit next to me.” He said.

“And why would I do that?” I said, raising my eyebrow.

“I’m your guide remember? But if you don’t want to, you can always sit next to Derrick or that guy over there who’s picking his nose.”

I looked over to where he was pointing. I shrugged. There were only 3 sits that are vacant and I had no other choice…

“Fine.”

The teacher went in and we sat in our places.

“Good morning class! I’m Mr. Reynolds and I will be your English teacher. Now, before we start, I believe that there is a new student here today, Ms. San Jose?”

I raised my hand and Mr. Reynolds acknowledged it.

After 4 hours of classes being together with Mr. Slick and Mr. Know-it-all Magalona, I have finally got away from it.

It was lunch time and as I searched around the cafeteria, there were no available seats, so I went out and searched for a different place to eat.

How I wish Louise was here. Where is she, by the way? I haven’t seen her since the festival.

I walked up the stairs and into the rooftop and as soon as I entered the place, I stopped and my jaw dropped for I was in awe with the view.

“Wow! Amazing!” The place was like a small garden. There were lots of plants and flowers and there were benches and a table. It looks like a garden from someone’s backyard.

“I know right?” I was startled from the voice coming from my back. I turned around and saw this gorgeous smile just inches away from my face.
